It's Christmas time you can feel the joy
As we're off to see Aunt Jill
I got her a re-gifted mug
I stole from cousin Phil
And when we get to her house
I've not so soon forgotten
Just where in her bedroom draw
She hides her Oxycotton
La La La Have a Merry Christmas
La La La With Family Merry Christmas
Cousin D he just returned
From 6 months in the pen
Mom says it won't be long
Till they send him back again
He stole a car when he was drunk
And drove it in a lake
But he's back for Christmas eve
So let's all partake
La La La Have a Merry Christmas
La La La With Family Merry Christmas
Uncle Stan he weighs a ton
And he eats like a hog
But his wife Fran is the one
Who brings the spiced eggnog
They're quite a pair you'd have to say
They both can put 'em down
A jolly bunch they drink so much
They pass out on the ground.
La La La Have a Merry Christmas
La La La With Family Merry Christmas
It's the time of year
You can feel the joy
Every girl, every young man
Can so easily comprehend
That it's Christmas
Uncle Claude and his 4th wife
They're splitting up it seems
From when I hear she met a girl
And she's switching teams
So he's alone for Christmas
With a broken heart
We're all taking bets
On how bad he'll fall apart
La La La Have a Merry Christmas
La La La With Family Merry Christmas
So to fill the Yuletide Cheer
With relations we will spend
Christmas eve exchanging gifts
And catching up again
Though we're no saints
We have our faults and sometimes disagree
Let's raise a glass one last time
And toast our family
La La La Have a Merry Christmas
La La La With Family Merry Christmas
