Notes:
I wrote this song last of my five Silent Bob songs and at the time thought it was the strongest. The song deals with estrangement and death. There isn't always a chance to reconnect. You won't get the chance to meet everyone again further down the road. When some doors are shut, they are shut forever. |
I guess I should have seen it
it's sad that the bridge has now been burned
All through the years we had it
It's sad all the water couldn't quench this fire
Then the news came to me in latter time
And now I have to face it
It's sad that we had this thing called pride
Then the news came to me in latter time |
