She said "it's the dice or me," so I lied
When she found the truth, we would divide
She wouldn't be the only cost
Each time I win, there's a line that's crossed

But you can't match the adrenaline
It just hits you so hard when you win
You know the risks you take
You can lose as fast as you make

I raise you, I call your bluff
I don't know when I've had enough
I pay the price that I can't afford
Maybe it will lead to reward

Deal the cards or roll the dice
And on the games I will suffice
With her gone nothing holds me back
My confidence, a shied that will not crack

Today I'm up so I don't care
About the thin line between here and despair
The next hand could be the one
To double my win or bring me undone

I stand outside the casino there
